A slow moving cold front is moving through central Kansas, which could spark off thunderstorms today and tonight across parts of southern and eastern Kansas.
A few of the storms could be severe with the main threats being strong winds and some large hail. The storms will also carry heavy rains, which could cause some flooding problems later tonight.
The storms could linger into parts of Saturday.
The KAKEland StormChasers are currently stationed around the area to monitor the situation.
