WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Police say they've arrested three men in connection to a home robbery in southwest Wichita after the suspects led officers on a pursuit.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Darius Jackson and 19-year-old Jaylin Young for two counts each of aggravated robbery, and 23-year-old Devontice Joe for aggravated robbery and a probation violation.

Officers responded at around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday to a home robbery near 31st Street South and Seneca. Police spokesperson Charley Davidson said it was reported that the three suspects involved were in a silver Chevy Equinox.

Police arrived in the area and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver fled. Officer Davidson said that during the pursuit, a backpack containing marijuana was thrown from the SUV.

The suspects ditched the SUV near Pawnee and Broadway and were taken into custody. Officers also located a pellet gun near the vehicle.

Officer Davidson said the robbery stemmed from a drug transaction. Cash and phones were taken.

The case is still under investigation and will be presented to the district attorney's office.
