Driver who died near Wichita possibly suffered medical condition

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a 41-year-old man who was found dead in his vehicle Tuesday morning likely suffered a medical condition.

Emergency crews responded at around 5:40 a.m. to the report of an injury accident near 47th and 143rd streets in southeast Sedgwick County. Sgt. Daniel Oliver with the sheriff's office said they arrived to find the man unresponsive in the driver's seat. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

Sgt. Oliver said it is believed the man had a medical issue, drove off the road and died. His name was not released.
