Wichita police are looking for the thieves who stole thousands of dollars in tools and equipment from a local business.

A quick tour of Monty Bazil's business on south Mosely street, and you'll see his tools and equipment are very unique.

“They're very expensive,” said Bazil.  “They're no good to anyone except for us."

He owns Water Protection Plus, Water and Basement Repair. Police say on October 21st someone broke into the business and stole a box truck, tools, a trailer and skid loader along with other equipment worth $50,000.

"It's a down time of work,” said Bazil. “It's extra time and effort that we have to spend on getting the tools, replacing the tools that are gone replacing the trucks."

Police recovered the skid loader and trailer in Oklahoma last week, but they still need help finding the thieves and the rest of the equipment.

"We want to stop them in their tracks,” said Wichita Police Officer Kevin Wheeler. “Let’s get them into custody so they're not affecting anybody else."

Bazil wants that too, so he can get back to business.

"You got to get back to work. You got to recover. You can't let criminals keep good people from work," said Bazil.
