Wichita post office evacuated after bomb threat

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police are investigating after someone called in a bomb threat to a post office on the northeast side. 

Officers responded at around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday to the Munger Station Post Office at 13th and Oliver. Police say an unknown suspect called the office and make a bomb threat. 

Wichita police and a Kansas Highway Patrol bomb dog responded, and the building was evacuated and checked. No devices were found. 

Local and federal law enforcement continue to investigate.
