McDuffie signs deal with a pro team in Hungary

Former Wichita State star Markis McDuffie landed his first pro contract on Tuesday. He signed with Alba Fehervar in Hungary.

McDuffie averaged 18.2 PPG his senior year with the Shockers, which is the highest average in the Gregg Marshall era at WSU.

The Patterson, New Jersey native was really the only one on the team last year with multiple years of playing experience at the D1 level, and he was a huge reason why WSU won 14 of 17 games to get to the N.I.T semifinals.

McDuffie worked out with several NBA teams this offseason and played with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA's Summer League.
