WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Purple and Black team nearly pulled off the biggest Elam Ending comeback in TBT history on Friday night.

The K-State alumni team was down by as many as 20 points, and trailed Team Colorado by 14 points once the Elam Ending went into affect. That's when Purple and Black would go on a terrific run. They cut the Buffs' lead to 94-93 but Team Colorado would eventually hit the game-winning shot, leaving Koch Arena with the 96-93 victory.

Marcus Foster had a game-high 36 points, Purple and Black only had two other players in double digits (Justin Edwards-18, Stephen Hurt-10). Team Colorado had six players get into double figures, led by Richard Roby's 23 points.

The Wichita Regional Semifinals are set:

Team Colorado vs. Golden Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on ESPN

AfterShocks vs. Sideline Cancer at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN
