Missing Kansas woman and 3-year-old son found safe

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a missing mother and her 3-year-old son have been found safe.

The Lawrence Police Department released a statement on Friday saying that Felicia Miner and Dominic Miner were located safe and unharmed.

No other details were given.

The Lawrence Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman and her 3-year-old son. 

Police said on Facebook that 22-year-old Felicia Miner and her son, Dominic, were last seen on Haskell University Campus on Thursday night.

Felicia is 5-foot-5, weighs about 170 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Dominic has black hair and brown eyes. 

Miner owns a white Chevrolet Cruze with Kansas plate 859 JYV. Police say she and her son may be with a man named Trevon Hale.
