Kansas game wardens arrested five people for poaching after two dead deer were found in the trunk of a car.

The state department of wildlife, parks and tourism said on Facebook that a deputy stopped Saturday night to assist people in a car on the side of a road. Blood was found dripping from the trunk.

"Our Douglas County Game Warden was called and further investigation found two deer in the trunk of the car, and a loaded .22 caliber rifle and spotlight in the passenger compartment," the Facebook post says.
