Wichita police investigate robberies at 3 Circle K convenience stores

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police are searching for suspects who robbed three different Circle K convenience stores over a period of three days.

The most recent robbery happened happened at around 3 a.m. Monday at the Circle K at 3311 North Rock Road. An employee told arriving officers that two men, one of whom had a gun, left on foot after getting an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. 

Officer Charley Davidson described the suspects as follows:

  • Black male with a heavy build standing 5-foot-10, wearing a red face cover, a dark jacket and blue jeans
  • Black male with a thin build standing 5-foot-11 wearing a beige jacket, a beige scarf and blue jeans; armed with a black handgun

The other two Circle K robberies happened early Saturday morning.

The first was reported at around 12:30 a.m. at 1250 South Rock Road. An employee told police two armed suspects entered the business and demanded cash. They left the store after getting cash and cigarettes. 

Officer Davidson described the suspects as follows:

  • Black male in his 20s, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 230 pounds, wearing a blue hoodie, white pants, a multi-colored stocking cap, black gloves and a white cloth over his face
  • Black male in his 20s, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 240 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, back shoes, a baseball cap with a blue bill, black gloves and white cloth over his face

Saturday morning's second robbery happened just 10 minutes later at the Circle K at 4414 West Maple. Police say two suspects, one armed with a handgun, got away with cash and cigarettes. 

Officer Davidson described the suspects as follows:

  • Black male with a medium build standing 5-foot-5, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, gray pants and a black mask; armed with a black handgun
  • Black male with a medium build standing 5-foot-11, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and a white shirt covering his face

No one was hurt in the robberies. Police believe they could be related.

There were three other robberies reported over the weekend. Officer Davidson said one at a Burger King and another at a Taco Bell could be related.
