Two Wichita Police officers charged in separate incidents

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Two veteran Wichita Police officers have been charged in separate incidents,  the department announced today.

Officer Josh Price has been charged with two misdemeanors and a felony.  The charges stem from an October arrest for official misconduct and stalking.  Price has been with WPD for 18 years.  

Officer Jax Rutledge is charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and criminal deprivation of property.  He was arrested on October 9th.  Rutledge has been a Wichita Police officer for nine years.

Both officers are on administrative leave without pay.
