Officers responded at around 11 a.m. Sunday to the report of a woman not breathing in the 800 block of North Litchfield, where they found a 25-year-old woman unresponsive, according to Officer Charley Davidson of the Wichita Police Department.

"Trauma was located on the female," Lt. Todd Ojile said. "During the investigation, it was learned that the female and her boyfriend had come home in the early morning hours Sunday. Lt. Ojile identified the victim as Bryena Mcquitty. An online fund has been established to help her family.
