A fire at  a grain elevator fire just East of Wellington is out.  Sumner County Emergency Management Director tells KAKE News there were two grain bins that caught fire at the Scoular Grain Elevator around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

 James Fair, Sumner County Emergency Management Director said crews are had issues getting enough water to the site and getting the water high enough to reach the top of the elevator. He went on to say he wasn't concerned about the possibility of any explosions because of how full the grain bins were.

Crews from Mayfield, Oxford, Winfield, and Sumner County have joined Wellington fighting this fire.

So far no injuries were reported.

A Grain Elevator just East of Wellington is on fire.  It was first reported at approximately 3:45.  Multiple fire departments are working to control the fire near the intersection of North Seneca Road and East 20th Street South.
