Chris has worked as a reporter at KAKE TV for more than 25 years and his relationship with Wichita dates back even longer. That's because he grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma only 90 miles from Wichita. As a youngster, Chris would visit Wichita to go shopping with his parents or go to concerts with his friends. One of his summer jobs between college semesters, Chris worked the wheat harvest through Kansas. Another summer he worked on a farm near Leroy.
Graduating from Oklahoma State University, Chris started his television career at KTEN-TV in Ada, Oklahoma. But when he got the opportunity to join KAKE, Chris jumped at it. Over the years, Chris has covered several big stories but is probably best known for his reporting on the aviation industry.
