Running back Larry Johnson has agreed to a six-year contract extension and joined the Kansas City Chiefs for practice today after having been absent from training camp since it opened July 27th.
Johnson was in uniform, taking a swing pass from quarterback Brodie Croyle.
Chiefs spokesman Bob Moore said Johnson will speak to the media
tomorrow.
Johnson has broken the Chiefs' single-season rushing record in each of the past two seasons. He ran for 1,789 yards last year and set an NFL record with 416 carries.
During his holdout, the team fined him more than $19,000 per day.
