CLEVELAND (AP) -- Ryan Garko singled home the winning run with
one out in the ninth inning to give the Cleveland Indians a 5-to-4
win over the Kansas City Royals.
Victor Martinez drove in two runs for Cleveland, which improved
baseball's best home record to 32-and-12. Cleveland has won nine of
its last ten at Jacobs Field, where it plays 15 of its next 19
games.
Indians closer Joe Borowski got the win despite blowing a save
for the first time in 14 chances since May 13th. The right-hander
is 2-and-3.
