WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Travis Banwart held Evansville to one run
in eight innings as Wichita State beat the Purple Aces 6-to-1
today.
Matt Brown had two hits and two R-B-I's for Wichita State
(35-11, 14-2 Missouri Valley) and Conor Gillaspie was 2-for-4 with
one R-B-I.
Ben Norton gave up six runs in six innings to take the loss for
Evansville (28-16, 9-7).
