Wichita State has zeroed in on Winthrop's head coach in the school's search for a new basketball coach to replace Mark Turgeon.
Gregg Marshall of Winthrop was spotted inside WSU's Koch Arena by KAKE's James Sido.
ESPN.com reported an offer or a decision by Marshall on whether he would accept the job if offered, could be made by the end of the weekend.
Marshall was also a finalist at New Mexico and Arkansas and was on a short list at Texas A &M as well.
