KU, KSU Players Win Big 12 Honors

Kansas State running back Darren Sproles has been
named the Big 12's offensive player of the week. That's after he
rushed for 273 yards and two touchdowns in 43 carries in K-State's
24-to-14 win over Missouri that clinched the Big 12 North title.

Kansas defensive back Rodney Fowler and Oklahoma safety Brodney
Pool share the Big 12 defensive player of the week honors. Fowler
grabbing two interceptions -- including one for a touchdown -- in
the Jayhawks' 36-to-7 win over Iowa State. Pool had two
interceptions and six tackles in the Sooners' 56-to-25 win over
Texas Tech.

Oklahoma State punter Cole Farden took special teams honors
after punting three times for almost 52 yards per punt in the
Cowboys' 38-to-21 win over Baylor. One punt went 80 yards.
