WICHITA, KS- A night after allowing 16 runs and 19 hits, the Shreveport Sports held Wichita to just seven hits in a 4-2 victory on Tuesday night at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
A nice crowd of 3,288 fans saw the Wingnuts jump out to a 2-0 lead after three innings, but that would be it for Wichita. Shreveport took the lead on a two-out, bases loaded single in the seventh inning off the bat of Richard Quihuis-Bell.
The two teams will finish out their series on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
