Bob Krause will take over as Kansas State athletic director

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) -- Longtime Kansas State University
administrator Bob Krause has been named the school's athletic
director.
The 62-year-old Krause replaces Tim Weiser, who resigned last
month to become deputy commissioner of the Big 12.
Krause has worn a great many hats during his long career at
Kansas State and been closely associated with athletics. His full
title will be vice president for institutional advancement and
intercollegiate athletics.
The Manhattan school also announced today that Jim Epps would
become deputy athletics director and oversee day-to-day operations.
Epps has been senior associate athletic director and has held a
number of positions within the department for almost 30 years.
