A North High student has been arrested on suspicion of sex crimes reportedly committed on campus, USD district spokeswoman Susan Arensman said.

The alleged incident happened during lunch time on Tuesday. The suspect is an 18-year-old senior and the victim is a 16-year-old female student.

The suspect was arrested off-campus on suspicion of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy. The names have not been released.
