Wichita Public Schools USD 259 has cancelled school for Monday, February 8 due to current weather conditions and the anticipated impact of the snow that will continue to fall through the Wichita area today, according to school spokesperson Susan Arensman.

All student-related evening activites are also cancelled. A decision about status of the Board of Education meeting will be made later this afternoon.

All non-attendance center personnel are expected to report to work, and principals are expected to make every effort to be at their school when students normally arrive to ensure that students who may show up at school receive the message that schools are closed.
