Kansas State University's new president is supposed to tell the board that oversees the state's higher education system what his college is doing in response to issues raised by auditors.

President Kirk Schulz was scheduled to give a presentation Thursday to the Kansas Board of Regents.

A report in June disclosed questionable financial dealings at Kansas State. They included undocumented payments totaling $845,000 to a former athletic director, a former vice president who'd also served as athletic director and head football coach Bill Snyder.

The regents commissioned the audit as an exit review as former President Jon Wefald was retiring this summer.
