Back from his Hawaiian holiday, President-elect Barack Obama is set to meet with congressional leaders next week to discuss his economic stimulus plan.

That and other legislative issues become topic A soon after he arrives in Washington this weekend and sees his two daughters off to school on Monday. Congressional leaders will be next on the agenda.

Obama and his family planned to fly from Chicago to Washington on Sunday.

A senior Democratic congressional aide says Obama will meet with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, then join them in a meeting with GOP leaders.

Obama was also scheduled to talk with President George W. Bush and former presidents at the White House on Wednesday.
