Last Day To Register To Vote In Kansas

Stay up-to-date with KAKE News:

The lines are long at the Sedgwick County election office as people are coming in last-minute to register to vote.

Today is the last day to register to vote in Kansas.

Election Commissioner Bill Gale says the election office has been busy for weeks. More than 10,000 people have mailed in their advance ballots and another 60,000 were sent out last week.

Seventeen-year-olds that turn 18 by November 4 must register by the time election offices close today if they want to vote. And those who have moved should register to vote with their new address.

Kansans may register at the Secretary of State's office or election offices in the state's 105 counties.

Election Day is two weeks from tomorrow.
