Riverfest Deals With Rising Water
The Wichita River Festival kicks off Friday, but high waters on the Arkansas River have already put a damper on some events. On Saturday, the only thing that will be out on the river are the ducks.

5-10-07 - The Wichita River Festival kicks off Friday, but high waters on the Arkansas River have already put a damper on some events. On Saturday, the only thing that will be out on the river are the ducks.

These events have been postponed until Monday, May 14:
Kansas Gas Service Paddle Boats
Star Million Dollar Hole-In-One

This event has been rescheduled for May 19, Noon to 6:00 pm:
Arkansas River Coalition River Rides

On the bright side, the opening weekend for Riverfest should be rain free.
