Police Chase Leads to Car Accident
A police chase led to an accident in east Wichita Friday morning. Officers had tried to pull a man over for minor violations around 9:30 but the driver took off. The chase didn't last long though.

5-4-07 - A police chase led to an accident in east Wichita Friday morning. Officers had tried to pull a man over for minor violations around 9:30 but the driver took off.
The chase didn't last long though. The driver crossed the intersection at Central and Webb and sideswiped another car. The victim had minor injures and the suspect was captured trying to run from the scene.
Officers believe he ran because he was either wanted or had a suspended license.
Police had called off the pursuit just moments before the accident happened.
