Man chased and threatened outside Wichita gas station

Wichita, Kan. -- Wichita Police are looking for a suspect who threatened and chased another man at a west Wichita gas station.

It happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday at the Jump Start gas station located near Kellogg and Meridian. Sgt. John Hoofer says a man and woman pulled into the gas station when the man was approached by a suspect who started chasing him around the pumps, saying he was going to cut him in half.

The suspect was described as a black male around 6'2" and weighing around 230 pounds. He was wearing a red and black Miami ball cap, no shirt and brown shorts.

The victim wasn't hurt. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
