Crime Stoppers - Violent Business Robberies

Wichita police looking for a pair of repeat robbers who they believe have hit five area businesses in the past month. The robberies happened between Oct. 14 and Nov. 7, 2011.

The Golden Corral at 616 Southridge Circle was robbed at closing time. The suspects, wearing white masks and latex gloves, forced the employees back into the office. The loss was money and cell phones.

Police believe the Food Mart at 1400 N. Market, Downtown Wireless at 1617 E. Central, Family Video at 1759 S. Hillside and Credit Union of America at 5055 S. Broadway were all robbed by the same suspects.

In these robberies, the victims' hands and feet were secured with duct tape. The suspects were also more violent in those robberies, striking several of the victims and a customer. Loss in these robberies was cash, cell phones and cigarettes.

The suspects are described as black men of average height and build. They all wore dark clothing and carried handguns. The vehicle used in the robberies was possibly a maroon-colored sport utility vehicle.
