A fairly light schedule is ahead this week for new economic data.

Tomorrow, the Commerce Department releases April housing starts and building permits, with gains seen for both numbers. The following day, the Federal Reserve releases minutes from the policy-setting meeting held late last month.

Thursday brings the leading indicators from the Conference Board as well as new claims for unemployment benefits.
