WICHITA, Kan. -- A 32-year-old Wichita man suffered serious injuries late Saturday night after hit pickup hit a semi on a highway in Park City.
The crash happened just before midnight on I-135 near 77th Street North. The Kansas Highway Patrol says both vehicles were heading north when Michael Thomas drove his Ford Ranger into the left lane, hitting the semi. His pickup then crossed the roadway, hit a reflector post, veered back across all four lanes of traffic and hit a fence.
Thomas was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. The 55-year-old driver of the semi was not hurt.
