Police have given the "all clear" after a thrift store in Wichita's Delano district was evacuated amid an alleged bomb threat.

Officers were called to the DAV Thrift Store in the 1200 block of West Douglas at around 6:10 p.m. Thursday.

Sgt. Jim Merrick said an anonymous caller told a DAV employee there was a bomb in the building that would "go off in five minutes." Employees then evacuated the building.

Police found nothing suspicious inside, and the DAV was reopened around 7:20 p.m., Merrick said.

Further details were not provided.
