Officials say a third child has come forward, saying he was sexually assaulted by a former Arkansas City middle school teacher.
Noble "Rick" Pendland, 46, was arrested in September on charges of aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Those alleged incidents happened in the summer of 2010.
Arkansas City police say a third juvenile told investigators he was assaulted by Pendland in 2010 when he lived at Pendland's home. This new case will be forwarded to the Cowley County Attorney.
