Wellington Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a Subway Restaurant last night.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, a man walked into Subway at 715 North G Street, pulled out a handgun and ordered to clerk to give him the money from the register. He left with the cash and no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall who weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He has a shaved head, no facial hair and was wearing dark-rimmed glasses. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored sport jacket and a black baseball cap with an unknown logo. He was carrying a black semi-automatic hand gun and a dark-colored bag.

This suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on this robbery or this man's identity, you're asked to contact the Wellington Police Department at (620) 326-3331 or Wellington/Sumner County Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS or (620) 326-3135.

Police also believe the man may also be connected to two other robberies that happened last weekend in Missouri.
