A local boy could have any wish come true this month, and there probably wouldn't be anything better than having tickets to the Shockers last game this Saturday.
That's exactly what Make-A-Wish got for 10-year-old Tim Zent. Tim, who is fighting brain cancer, never dreamed of what else he would receive on the floor of Koch Arena today.
The folks at Scholfield Honda had four tickets to give to someone special. Through Make-A-Wish, KAKE set them up with someone who would fit the bill. 10-year-old Tim met today with Roger Scholfield and Wu Shock at Koch Arena.
"I've been through cancer all the pain of cancer ...getting poked with needles all the time." says Tim.
When asked if this would make him forget about those times, Tim happily replied, yes.
Then the unexpected happened. Ron Baker just happened to enter Koch Arena as we were there.
"How are you doing Tim? You excited for Saturday's game?" asked Ron. Which of course Tim said yes.
I think like he said, it will help him forget about all the other stuff and just enjoy... that's all I want as a parent... just for him to enjoy the moment. I want him to live for now." says Tim's father Judd.
Now, today, this moment at Koch Arena, is pretty darn good.
