TOPEKA, Kan. — Sedgwick County had more babies born in 2013 than any other Kansas county. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment released a report on 2013 live births.
Sedgwick County reported 7,487 live births in 2013. Johnson County was second at 7,320, followed by Wyandotte County at 2,678.
Clark County reported the fewest live births with 20. Comanche and Hodgeman Counties reported 21 live births.
Statewide, more children were born in July (3,425) than any other month.
