Burden Woman Killed In 2nd Fatal Accident In Cowley County
Authorities have identified the person killed in an accident in Cowley County Saturday evening. The second fatal accident in less than 24 hours in that County.

Authorities have identified the person killed in an accident in Cowley County Saturday evening. The second fatal accident in less than 24 hours in that County.

Cowley County Undersheriff Bill Mueller says Tracy Lynn Hobart, 46, of Burden, was killed after her car lost control on a curve, better known locally as the Dexter Y, North of Dexter on K-15 Saturday night.

When Deputies arrived on scene, they found the car rolled over, and Hobart ejected from the vehicle.

Reports indicate that the car was North on K-15, when Hobart lost control, struck a guard rail, flipped several times, and came to rest in a field.

Mueller says she was the only one in the car, and they are unsure why she lost control.
