WICHITA, Kan. -- Police are looking for the man who burglarized an east Wichita department store, and they say this isn't the first time he's done it.
Shortly before 4 a.m. Monday morning, police were dispatched to an alarm at the Target store located at 301 Towne East Drive.
When they arrived, they found someone had broken out the front doors with concrete and stole three cell phones.
After looking at video, police say the suspect is a black male, about six-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue puffy coat, gray hoodie underneath, black shorts and black and white shoes. He possibly left on a bicycle.
Officers believe the same suspect committed a similar crime at the store on November 2. In that case, the suspect broke out the glass of the store's front door with concrete and took three digital cameras from the electronics section. They were valued at around $1,800.
Damage to the doors in the most recent case is estimated at approximately $10,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111.
