More Storms In Store For Kansas

We could be in store for another stormy night.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10:00 p.m. for a large portion of Kansas. Wichita and Sedgwick County are not included.

Counties in the watch area are Barber, Barton, Clark, Comanche, Edwards, Ellis, Finney, Ford, Gove, Grant, Gray, Greeley, Hamilton, Harper, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Kingman, Kiowa, Lane, Logan, Meade, Morton, Ness, Pawnee, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Rush, Scott, Seward, Stafford, Stanton, Stevens, Trego, Wallace and Wichita.

The biggest threats from these storms are hail and damaging winds. Locally heavy rain is possible.
