WICHITA, Kan. -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a south Wichita payday loan business Thursday evening.
A man walked into the EZ Payday Advance in the 2500 block of South Seneca around 6 p.m. as an employee was closing up. He said he had a gun and demanded money.
According to dispatchers, the suspect held the employee for about 15 minutes until the safe's time lock was released. He was last seen on foot leaving the business.
The suspect is described as Hispanic male in his early to mid 20s with a thin build. He was wearing dark blue hoodie, blue pants, blue shoes and a black and white face mask.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call police.
