A man who jumped from a Wichita overpass onto the street below is badly injured but survived the fall.

The Wichita Eagle reported the unidentified man was seen standing on the railing of the Kellogg overpass about 30 feet above Main Street at 4:15 p.m. Monday.

A man who was driving by says he saw the man turn his back from the railing, and a few seconds later he heard the sound of his body hitting the ground.
