The Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning against carebear pacifiers.

The products are being pulled from shelves because the nipples can separate from the base, posing a choking hazard to young children.

The pacifiers and the clip attachment have carebear figures and a TCFC copyright mark on them. The nipple is made of silicone. About 119,000 of these pacifiers were sold nationwide from October 2009 through June 2012 for about $1.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from infants and contact the company for instructions on returning the products for a full refund.
