WICHITA, Kan. -- If you're looking for a fun event this Easter, consider the Midwest Flava Social Club's 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at 136 S. Pattie in Wichita. It's a free event, open to kids, ages 2 to 11.

There will be snacks, games, prizes, candy and lots of eggs. Easter baskets, cash eggs and candy bouquets are among the prizes.

The Easter event coincides with a fundraiser to help support two sick children. At the same location, there will be a fundraiser for two young Kansas boys, said organizer Sharon Randle. The events kick off at 11 a.m. and include a raffle, cake walk, bake sale and 50/50 drawing.

Randle said 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the family for medical and travel expenses needed. You can contact via e-mail at sharonrandle39@yahoo.com or by phone at (316) 371-0915.
