440 tickets written during Sedgwick County "Click It Or Ticket" Campaign

WICHITA, Kan The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office handed out hundreds of citations during its “CLICK IT OR TICKET” campaign. The campaign ran for two weeks consisting of saturation patrols which enforced occupant safety, impaired driving and other traffic laws.

Deputies wrote 440 adult safety belt citations, 8 teen safety belt citations, 12 child restraint citations and 184 other citations for various traffic violations. A total of 525 traffic stops were made.

The “CLICK IT OR TICKET” campaign was supported by a grant to Sedgwick County from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
