Before you head out the door, we like to catch you up with what happened while you were sleeping.
Wichita Police were busy early Tuesday morning checking on a couple of stabbing reports, but they were unable to find evidence that one of those actually happened.
The first report was made to 911 about 2:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of East Castle, which is a few blocks southeast of Lincoln and Woodlawn. Police and emergency crews were unable to find a victim or any evidence of a stabbing.
About 3:10 a.m., a man walked into Via Christi-St. Joseph hospital with stab wounds. He said he was attacked near Harry and Edgemoor. The man told police he didn't know who attacked him, so police have not yet developed any suspect descriptions.
Someone also called 911 about 2:40 a.m. to report somebody on the roof of Derby High School, but by the time officers arrived, there was nobody around.
