An incident involving a couple spotting and returning an unattended child ended in an altercation and a gun being pulled.
It happened Saturday in the 1200 block of North Delrose, near 13th Street and Oliver Street. A couple attending a baby shower spotted a 4-year-old boy wandering down the street alone. The couple left the baby shower and walked the child back to a neighbor's house, where they believed the child lived.
When the boy was returned, his parents and the couple got into an argument because the couple was upset about the boy being left unattended. The man in the home then threatened to kill the couple, put on black UFC fighting gloves and grabbed a handgun. The couple left the house and called police.
When police arrived, the man who pulled the gun had left. He could face charges of felony aggravated assault and child neglect.
No one was injured in the incident.
