Physicians recommend if you have a treatment plan for asthma from your doctor, please follow that plan. If breathing difficulties are something new, please see your doctor. For cough and cold, preventative measures include washing your hands frequently and not sharing a drink with another person. If your fever is more than 102°, you are short of breath, dehydrated or your symptoms have lasted more than 7 days, please see your doctor. For diarrhea and vomiting, wash your hands frequently and limit your contact with sick people. Please see your doctor if you have diarrhea for more than 7 days or are not able to take liquids, as you could be dehydrated.
