Susan's Summer Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
Salad:
1 package ramen noodles
1 small cabbage, shredded
4 stalks of green onions, finely chopped
1 cup almonds, sliced
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
Dressing:
1 packet of seasoning from ramen noodles
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup cider vinegar OR 1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions
Crush ramen noodles and then toss together with cabbage, noodles, onions, almonds, and sunflower seeds.
Mix together in a bowl all of the dressing ingredients (mix with a fork)
OR put those ingredients in a jar with a lid and shake well.
Pour dressing mixture over cabbage mixture and toss lightly.
NOTE: Great for cookouts because the cabbage and noodles stay fresh. Also, the cabbage is healthy!!
