Striking Boeing machinists will be able to pick up strike checks and vote on a new contract at the same time Saturday.
The vote in Wichita will take place at the Best Western Airport Inn at 6815 W. Kellogg. The event will begin with machinists handing out strike checks at 9:00 a.m.
A union official will present details of the contract offer at 11:00 a.m., voting will then continue until 2:00 p.m.
The vote will have one ballot--to accept or reject the contract. A simple majority will approve the contract. If the offer is ratified, members can return to work beginning with the third shift Sunday, November 2nd.
